We understand you can be left with lots of questions before leaving your pets in a boarding kennels or cattery. Below are our most common questions and their answers. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.


What do I need to bring to the kennels when bringing my pet?

The only thing you need to bring with you is the up-to-date vaccination card for all of your pets. We will not be able to allow your pets to board if we do not have this on site for the duration of their stay.

What food do you use for your guests?

All of the dogs who stay with us are fed James Wellbeloved, which is a wholesome, natural hypo-allergenic dog food. This is mixed with fresh chicken, rice and tripe. All dogs recieve two meals per day.
The cats who stay with us are fed a Whiskas pouch in the evening, and are provided with Iams biscuits throughout the day.

What exercise do the dogs recieve?

All dogs receive one on one supervised exercise periods, twice daily, in our secure paddock.

Can my pets share a kennel or cabin?

We have larger kennels to accomodate upto three dogs and all of our cabins are large enough for upto three cats to share. We have different daily rates for pets who are sharing, please see our pricing page for more information.

What bedding do you provide?

Each dog is provided with either a fixed raised bed or a basket both are then filled with VetBed, which is a warm and cosy, chew resistant fleece. Cats are also provided with a basket filled with VetBed.

Can I bring my own bedding and food for you to use instead of the items provided?

You are welcome to bring some items from home if you prefer, however this will be at your own risk, soiled or damaged items may be destroyed.

Are the kennels and cabins kept warm during winter?

The kennels and cattery are both heated to a minimum of 15 degrees centigrade at all times.

What will happen if we are unable to pick up our pets on the booked departure date?

In the event you cannot pick up your pets on their booked departure date, please contact us as soon as possible, in most circumstances we are able to extend the booking for as long as necessary.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept three methods of payment: Credit/Debit Cards, Cheques or Cash. If you are booking online you can only pay by Credit or Debit Card.

If any of my pets are ill while I am away what will happen?

If any of our guests become ill and veterinary attention is needed we will first contact the emergency number left when you created your booking and notify them of the situation. We will then take the pet to your Vet. All veterinary charges will need to be paid on the pets departure day.
