This page outlines our full company policy including our online payment systems and our boarding contracts.

Refunds

  1. Deposits - non refundable, under any circumstances.
  2. Total Fee (minus deposit)
    • We do not offer refunds unless an error has been made and it is the fault of Old Harlow Boarding Kennels and Cattery.
    • We may make an exception in extreme circumstances and when we are given plenty of notice.
    • These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Vaccinations

  1. All guests must be accompanied by an up-to-date vaccination card, this card has to stay on site for the duration of your pets stay with us.
  2. We may not be able to accept your pet if this card is not present at time of arrival. No refund will be made if this is the case.

Fees

  1. All fees are charged on a 'per day' basis. This includes both the day of arrival and departure. This allows you to drop off or pick up your pet at a time that suits you, within our opening hours.
  2. Fees must be paid in full either on or before the day of arrival.
  3. Fees are inclusive of VAT, bedding, food and heating.
  4. Fees can be paid either by cash, cheque, or credit card (when using Online Booking System).

Extra Services

  1. Extra services are priced seperately and are added to the final account, these must also be paid on day of arrival.

Deposits

  1. A deposit of £20 must be paid to confirm your booking.
  2. We withold the right to cancel your booking at any time, without notice, if a deposit has not been paid.
  3. Deposits are non refundable

Emergency Situations

  1. We require an emergency contact number for your pets while you are away. We will contact this number in circumstances where medical attention is advised.
  2. We seek veterinary assistance should it be deemed necessary, all veterinary fees are the responsibility of the client and are payable at the time of departure.

Personal Belongings

  1. You are welcome to bring personal belongings with your pets, such as bedding and toys from home. While we take reasonable precautions, we do not accept any responsibility, financial or otherwise, for damage to or loss of owner-provided collars, beds, bedding, toys, cages etc.
  2. We cannot guarantee that we will return any personal belongings left on site while you are away.
  3. Any bedding must be in a clean and parasite free condition.
  4. Any bedding becoming soiled during the boarding period will be destroyed without warning.
  5. You are welcome to leave your pet carriers and leads on site while you are away. We require these to be clearly marked with the clients name, and carriers with the clients addess.

Feeding

  1. We feed a scientifically proven, fully balanced diet to all dogs. But have no objection to you supplying your own food.
  2. We cannot guarantee any remaining food will be returned at the end of the boarding period.

Boarding Extentions

  1. We understand that plans sometimes can change and your reservation dates will need to be extended. Please call us if you cannot pick up your pet on the scheduled date.
  2. In most circumstances this will not be a problem, please understand that during busy periods we are not able to accommodate another boarder without knowing when your pets will be leaving.
  3. If you fail to collect your pet within 14 days of the scheduled depature date, and you have not made arrangements to extend the boarding period, the pets will become property of Old Harlow Boarding Kennels & Cattery, and we have the authority to rehome your pets without further reference to the owner.

Medication

  1. We are happy to give your pets medication whenever required during your pets stay, without any extra charge.
  2. Any medicine has to be provided by the owner on the arrival day.
  3. If you require us to administer medication, we do not take any responsibilty for the effects of this medication during the boarding period, pets will be boarded at owners risk.
